lounge/library/family 'chill' area: location is the centre of the home. the family access this via the entry located at the south.

the intention of this area is to provide the family with space to be together, with jennifers ever increasing library of books which she can dive into during her break period. glazing to east and west provide sunrise and sunset panoramas capturing the surrounding bushland and sparkling sea with emotive language. this can be further enjoyed with an exterior deck extending from the west glazed face. stairs lead to the dining kitchen area which also hold views across the bay. glazing to the north capture the movement of activity on the stair but also provide snapshot outwards across the north face of the site. similarly, glazing to the south of the dining area capture a view across the smooth scooped roof plane of the lounge/library/family area and further along the canopy which connects the entry to vehiclular access which is flanked by bedroom pods to the south of the home.
